Returns Policy

Returns are not accepted unless the items are faulty as each candle is made to order. Please read the full product description prior to purchase and contact us prior to buying if there is anything you are uncertain about. 

If your item arrives faulty, you must notify us in writing of the item's condition within 24 hours of its' arrival using our customer services contact email - info@getcandid.co.uk

Where items are faulty, in order to be eligible for a return your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need proof of purchase by either email or your original order number.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@getcandid.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return or without containing your original order number will not be accepted and can not be returned. Return postage costs will not be reimbursed.

If the item(s) arrive faulty and we are notified as above, we will endeavour to rectify the situation with either a full or partial refund, or replacement depending on the extent of the fault and customer preference. For items where a full refund is required, this will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the items back to our registered office. Candid Gifts are unable to cover the cost of return postage, and the original postage costs will not be refunded.

Candid are unable to accept responsibility for items that have been lost or damaged during return shipping. Tracking details of returns should be retained for your own purposes.

Lost items

From time to time there may be delays on the side of our shipping providers. Please allow up to 14 days for your item to arrive (UK orders). If you have not received your item within this timeframe, please let us know immediately so that we can investigate. Candid can not be held responsible for lost items where we are not notified within 30 days after the order was placed.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
